It is estimated that 6% of women use illegal drugs during their pregnancy. Although the use of illegal drugs is never a part of a healthy pregnancy, the Independent Adoption Center understands and has experience working with women who use illegal drugs recreationally, or who are addicted to illegal drugs and use throughout their pregnancy.
