So, when it came time for them to adopt, an "open adoption" through the Independent Adoption Center (IAC) was the obvious choice. "Annette, the mother of our daughter, continues to have a close relationship with us," says Eric. "Since we live in the same city, we’ve all had the opportunity to get to know each other’s friends and family. This bond continues to grow stronger and stronger through email, phone calls, and visits."
